The third Halloween STEM activity I would like to share with you is the Spiderweb STEM Challenge.
Challenge your students to design and build a spiderweb out of skewers, paint, tape, and yarn or you can modify the task and include any other materials you would like students to use.
Here’s what teachers like you have to say about it:
I am an elementary media specialist. I used this with 3rd and 4th grade to go along with spider research. They loved it!
What a fun activity. Great for making the kids really think about and construct something.
This is perfect for my class that has many STEM lovers in it. Thank you!

The second Halloween STEM activity I would like to share with you is the Snake Roller Coaster STEM Challenge.
Challenge your students to design and build a free-standing snake roller coaster out of tissue boxes, paper plates, toilet roll tubes, ping pong ball, and tape. Students will not only have fun doing this challenge, it can also be a great springboard activity for a discussion on forces and energy that govern roller coasters in general.
Here’s what a teacher like you has to say about it:
This served as a great tool to get kids planning and working together. Their finished product was much enjoyed.
